Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Technology Specialist to add to our growing team. The new CTS will be primarily responsible for outbound outreach to generate new business and engage existing customers. This is a full-time position at the intersection of Marketing, Education, and Sales and reports to the Brand Marketing Director for North America. This can be a “work from home” or remote role, located anywhere in the United States.

In this role, CTS fills an essential need within the organization to find and engage Eye Care Professionals to help them connect with their patients/clients in a whole new way. It is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing or sales specialist who would like to transition to an outbound role or an experienced eye care technician looking for career growth in a corporate environment.

This role requires an individual to have excellent organizational skills and deep knowledge of the eye care and optical market. The right candidate is a strong communicator, passionate about innovative medical technologies, and thrives in a target-driven environment. They will be positioned to succeed with essential product and consultative selling training to effectively introduce our technologies to ECPs. Success metrics will be measured by key performance indicators (KPIs) that will be discussed during the Onboarding Program.

What You’ll Do

  • Advocate digital transformation in eye care through strategic outreach with eye care professionals
  • Inspire prospects and existing customers by introducing modern technologies to meet unique practice needs
  • Employ various digital media strategies to build a robust and coordinated communication plan
  • Learn and employ emerging best practices in digital communication to implement personalized strategies to qualify needs, drive engagement, and influence purchasing decisions
  • Engage new leads to ensure effective movement in Sales Funnel and a smooth hand-off to a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Document activities in the company’s CRM platform to communicate progress with cross-functional teams
  • Track and report project effectiveness and apply insights to improve lead performance
  • Entry-level selling responsibilities to be added as competency and market knowledge matures

Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Degree in a relevant field and/or 2-5 years of Inside Sales or Marketing experience
  • Ability to process a wide range of information and communicate this clearly to clients
  • Advanced copy writing, presentation, listening and communication skills
  • Prior experience of influencing sales and building rapport with a wide range of clients
  • Prior experience using EMR systems or CRM for data entry and reporting
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
  • Tech-savvy, familiar and comfortable with “new media” platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Mailchimp or similar email programs, etc.)
  • Inside sales and/or digital marketing experience preferred
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently, and has solid time management skills
  • Highly organized and comfortable with reporting progress to senior management
  • Effective time management and ability to pre-plan and prioritize multiple projects
  • Must have a dedicated “work from home” space, and high-speed internet capability
